Skin Care in Summer

With the arrival of summer, many people look forward to spending time outside in the sun. Sunshine feels great, especially after a long, cold winter. Many people regard that getting some sun is the best way to improve their mood, energy level, and sense of optimism.

But too much sun exposure can be dangerous for everyone. It can cause skin cancer, cataracts, wrinkles, and painful burns that may permanently damage skin. So skin care is very needful in summer.

Here are some useful tips for Skin Care in Summer.

  • Whether you’re playing sports, gardening or just lounging, using the proper skin protection products can help prevent sun damage. A water-resistant sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher will help protect your skin from harmful UV rays.
  • Sunscreens should be applied to dry skin at least 15 minutes before going outdoors and should be reapplied after swimming or perspiring. Typically, one ounce of sunscreen lotion is enough to cover exposed areas of the body properly.(Also Read – Natural Skin Care And Beauty – The Steps You Need To Know)

  • Apply topical vitamin C before sunscreen or makeup. Sold in liquid form, it can protect your skin against sunlight damage. Choose the ones that come in brown, light-sensitive bottles. This is because the vitamin C molecule is easily destroyed and should not be stored in a clear container.(Also Read – Beauty Tips for Ayurveda Skin Care)
  • Exfoliate your body. It’s very important. Your body sheds skin cells at an amazing rate every minute of every day. If you don’t get rid of them, they’ll just be sitting on your skin making you look dull and dry. No matter how much lotion you use, you’re never going to have glowing skin if you don’t exfoliate. You should exfoliate the entire body from the shoulder down (you’ll want a facial exfoliator for your face and neck) and rinse clean. Continue to do this 2-3 times a week for the year-round beautiful skin.Skin Care in Summer
  • A much better approach is to use a cleanser or moisturizer with an alpha-hydroxy acid, such as glycolic acid or lactic acid. If you normally use moisturizer every day, you may find that your skin will benefit from a lighter, oil-free formulation in the summer.
Most oil-free moisturizers contain silicone or glycerin-based ingredients that provide moisture without feeling heavy or clogging pores. To lighten up, consider using a dual-purpose product like an SPF moisturizer. If you don’t need a moisturizer, you could use a foundation with an SPF. If you like wearing foundation but would prefer lighter coverage, consider a tinted moisturizer.

  • Control your food.Don’t eat too much of oily items in this season and avoid chicken items due to the fat content food pimples may appear in the face. Eat water Mellon one of best fruit which has high amount water content and it reduces our body heat by natural way. Lemon juice is the natural juice which does not only cool your body and also cools your inner layer of skin.
