Luxury has a different meaning for most people. If you have millions of dollars at your disposal then luxury will mean something entirely different than if you have hundreds. That doesn’t mean that luxury resorts have different standards that vary widely.
You won’t ever have the local drive-up motel with the latest in video games on the list of luxury resorts. Luxury resorts are often called destination resorts or exclusive resorts. They are often expensive vacation destinations that offer fully staffed facilities that provide service to your every need.
They can also be rated with four or five stars and that may be one of the differences of what some consider luxury and not. For instance, some luxury resorts also have what most consider luxury spas as part of their package.

Along with luxury spa packages as part of their amenities, you will often find a plethora of other activities that are top notch. Many of the luxury resorts offer championship golf either at their course or at a nearby course.
This may be included in a golf package if that is how you want to spend your time. A combination package that includes golf and the luxury spa may be perfect for a couple that has different interests during part of the day.
As you can imagine, luxury resorts vary widely in what they provide and the style in which it is provided. You may find a Mediterranean style or modern European style among the various exceptional facilities in the Caribbean.
You may find that many of the resorts offer all-inclusive honeymoons that may be perfect for you and your newlywed. Among the featured activities may include scuba diving. Whether you are certified or not, you can find services that fit your needs.
Many offer certification and all of the necessary equipment so you don’t need to bring anything but your swimsuit. As already mentioned, golf may be included at some of the most beautiful courses in the Caribbean.
Other activities that are included are water sports such as surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, and sailing to mention just a few.
No matter which resort you choose, you can expect a higher than normal level of luxury, sophistication and focus on your comforts.
From the luxurious rooms with everything you need for creature comforts while in the privacy of your room to the fabulous dining facilities and outside lounges.
Many offer bars that you can swim and enjoy sipping a Caribbean cocktail in the comforts of water and shade while listening to the exquisite music of the Caribbean.
